Meet our Staff

Jodi Koeman, Executive Director

I believe healthy food is not a privilege, it is an opportunity. Healthy food can change a person and build a community. At CHP, I get to focus on two of my passions – the value of creating community and the importance of healthy eating. It is a privilege working here and “planting the seeds” of hope and change.

You can contact Jodi at jodi@community-harvest.org.

Ken Dion, Operations Director

Working with a great staff and tens of thousands of volunteers makes each day exciting and challenging. Overseeing all operations on our 3 farms is a way of ensuring that all donations are used to their fullest.  Ensuring that the freshest and most nutritious produce is available for those who would not be able to purchase it is very rewarding.

You can contact Ken at kdion@community-harvest.org.

Alicia Cianciola, Program Manager

I am excited to participate in shaping the healthy food community in Central Mass. Food brings everyone together, and it’s endlessly rewarding to work so closely with the seeds that nourish our community. There are so many opportunities and so many great partners here that it’s impossible not to be inspired by the endless potential.

You can contact Alicia at alicia@community-harvest.org.

Wayne McAuliffe, Program Manager

CHP offers the entire community a place to come together in order to help others, from the first day I volunteered here I knew that it was powerful work.  When the opportunity came to join the staff and change career paths I jumped in and did not look back.  To sum it up having the ability to connect with the community in such a powerful way makes every day on the farm a good one.

You can reach Wayne at wayne@community-harvest.org.

Tori Buerschaper, Education and Outreach Coordinator

A farm is naturally a place for discovery, and since CHP is open to everyone we exponentially increase those moments of learning and wonder that occur here. Constantly being part of, fostering, capturing, and sharing that magic makes me so happy to be here every day. Fresh produce is both a joy to eat and a vital component of a healthy diet, and I want it to be a part of every meal, for every person.

You can reach Tori at tori@community-harvest.org.

Claudia Frazer, Fundraising and Events Coordinator

It’s a great feeling to witness the incredible commitment from our community that makes CHP such a powerful organization. When volunteers and community members join us at our events or contribute to fundraisers, I know they believe in the work CHP does just as much as I do.

You can contact Claudia at claudia@community-harvest.org.

Brittany Grenon, Development Manager

It is so important to me and my family that we eat healthy, live an active lifestyle and give back to our community when we can.  I love the fact that our family values are completely reflected here at the farm.  From the physical work in the fields to distributing fresh produce to families that might not otherwise have access to it, I can honestly say this is incredibly fulfilling work.

Brittany can be reached at brittany@community-harvest.org.

Bill Wheelock, Farm Manager

I was born and raised on a large vegetable farm in western NY and have been involved in farming for most of my life. In 2012 I moved to New England and worked for a small organic farm in southern NH. In 2016 I came to work at Community Harvest Project because I feel it’s a better use of small acre farm land than any of the other options out there.

Bill can be reached at bill@community-harvest.org.

Annie Stegink, Farm Supervisor

I love working on a farm and connecting to the earth in a very tangible way. It’s awesome to see the box of seeds at the beginning of the season grow into thousands of pounds of food with the help of countless volunteers and dedicated staff. It’s amazing what a positive change a community can make when they come together.

Annie can be reached at annie@community-harvest.org.

Susan Conant, Orchard Manager

It is very rewarding when you can do what you love while having a positive impact on your community.   Working at CHP allows me to do both!  Growing high quality produce for those in need makes every day worthwhile.

Contact her at susan@community-harvest.org.

Adam Lyford, Orchard Staff

Working at CHP is important to me for several reasons. It is great to work with so many different volunteers from a variety of backgrounds, and to almost always be working in a team environment. It is also very rewarding to be a part of CHP’s hunger relief mission for Worcester county.

Contact him at adam@community-harvest.org.

John Mattrick, Accountant

As a local resident, John had heard about the farm for a long time, and when the opportunity arose to work here, he jumped at it! He likes working here at the farm because he enjoys seeing the number of people who volunteer here and seeing the results he had read about for so long.

You can reach John at accounting@community-harvest.org.
